This is a free News (that is RSS or Atom feed) to Email gateway. It's a project started on January 26, 2010, by Emlyn O'Regan (that's me). It works, and will continue to work as I am personally using it for all my newsfeeds. I don't see any good reason why it will stop working, or ever become non-free.
If it breaks or if I break it, I'll fix it ASAP because I depend on it. I don't see any reason why this will ever change; assuming google keeps providing its excellent AppEngine service, this service will remain here and keep working. It will change over time though, as I make it better.
You can help me by signing up for some news feeds (rss and atom are both supported; I'm using feedparser.py to deal with feeds, it's pretty tolerant of most things out there). I can do with people loading this thing down a bit, and just generally using it.
This service necessarily collects emails and news feed pairings, to do what it does. Furthermore, I will probably examine all of these by hand in these early stages, as part of the development effort, so please be sure not to subscribe to anything you wouldn't want me to know about, or to use an email you want to keep private from me (although, you know, I'm not a stalker, so why would you care? But that's your business). I will endeavour to keep this information private from everyone else though, and I wont sell it or anything revolting like that. It's my "not going to be a bastard" guarantee.
